Articles We love our children and there is a fine line between looking out for children's weight and damaging their self-esteem. Childhood obesity is also not always a result of parental oversight. We are bombarded by food everywhere we look, and when a child loves food, it's easy to want to make them happy -- not to mention the fact that we don't really know what they eat at school and daycare. Sometimes it's just hard to add it all up. In public she is perfectly behaved and absolutely mortified when too much attention is called to her. At home, however, she is my most active and devious little devil.
